On Thursday, Virgin Media-O2 staff joined the #OneSlough team at the Salt Hill Activity Centre to help get the community jabbed!

The Consumer Indirect department from Virgin Media-O2 saw 14 staff members come out to help, with some staff coming as far away from Preston and Nottingham.

Training and Insights Manager Scott Kitson said; ‘’Working with our head office in Slough we wanted to give back to the local community and with Covid-19 being the top priority we got in touch with the #OneSlough team to offer our skills.”

Based on the Slough Trading Estate, Virgin Media-O2 staff are allotted one day of the year where they can volunteer for a local cause during the working day as way to give back to the community.

Despite being a part of the same department, because of the Covid-19 pandemic many have not seen each other face to face since prior to the pandemic in January 2020.

‘’Across the whole team, we have had great energy and a real buzz here at Salt Hill Activity Centre as we have managed to help make a difference to the bigger picture in a small way,’’ Scott said.
