The volunteer passport scheme is a Slough initiative, which offers a series of 4 short training modules exploring the key areas all volunteers need to successfully volunteer with clients. WAM Get Involved
WAM Get Involved was set up in 2014, to promote greater Community Involvement across the Royal Borough. The team works across Windsor Ascot and Maidenhead to build capacity within the Voluntary Sector with regular Information, Consultations (like Ageing Well in the Borough), Networking Meetings and Workshops eg Safeguarding and Management. The WAM Get Involved website enables local Residents to access Volunteering Opportunities as well as find out about local activities and news. The team also works with the Business sector to help them and their employees to improve their links with the local Community.
